About the role

This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone eager to take ownership of commercial activities in Italy. You'll lead go-to-market initiatives, work directly with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in one of Europe's most influential healthcare markets.

You'll play a central role in setting the vision, creating new business opportunities, and ultimately building a regional team to support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Italian growth strategy, increasing market share and revenue

  • Introduce cutting-edge AI medical imaging solutions to top-tier hospitals and imaging centers

  • Act as the first touchpoint for new customers-driving awareness, building trust, and closing deals

  • Collaborate with marketing to grow KOL advocacy and refine messaging based on market feedback

  • Identify and onboard strategic channel partners to support Italian expansion

  • Lead by example, setting the foundation for future commercial hires in the region

  • Attend major healthcare conferences to build relationships and uncover new opportunities

  • Work closely with customer success to ensure long-term client satisfaction and adoption

Who we're looking for

  • You bring years of experience in medical sales, preferably within imaging, diagnostics, or digital health technologies.

  • You've successfully closed complex, high-value deals and built lasting relationships within the Italian healthcare ecosystem.

  • You understand the Italian healthcare structures and processes, and you're comfortable navigating procurement frameworks and tenders.

  • You're a confident communicator, skilled in delivering compelling presentations, negotiating with stakeholders, and leading strategic discussions.

  • You're proficient with CRM platforms like Salesforce and comfortable working in a data-driven environment.

  • You're open to regular travel for client meetings and conferences across Italy and internationally.
