You will lead high-impact deals, driving licensing, acquisitions, and partnerships that fuel company growth. Working with international partners, you will gain global exposure, navigating cross-border negotiations and market expansion. You will deepen your knowledge of innovative drug development, particularly in Oncology, CNS, and Autoimmune diseases. Key Responsibilities of the position:Develop and execute the company's business development strategy, focusing on Oncology, CNS, and Autoimmune DiseasesIdentify and evaluate in-licensing, out-licensing, acquisition, and investment opportunities aligned with strategic objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical partners, investors, and key stakeholdersDrive deal negotiations, structure agreements, and support transaction execution to maximise business valueMonitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and licensing transactions to inform strategic decision-makingCollaborate with internal teams, including R&D, commercial, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of partnershipsOversee alliance management activities to optimise the success of collaborationsIdeal Candidate will have: PhD and/or MD in biological sciences, life sciences, or a related fieldSix or more years of experience in business development within the biotech or pharmaceutical industryStrong scientific or clinical expertise in Oncology, CNS, or Autoimmune therapeutic areas, with deep knowledge of the drug development and commercialisation processProven ability to identify high-value business opportunities and execute strategic dealsStrong experience negotiating and structuring complex licensing agreements and alliancesExperience working in global markets, navigating cross-cultural partnerships, and leading executive-level collaborationsHighly desirable: Experience in additional therapeutic areas and alliance managementIf you are interested in the position, please send an updated CV to John Morkus or call 02039295856 for more information.
